Parent & Student Portal Updates

As of Term 3, 2026, Veracross is our primary Parent and Student Portal. Please review the latest access information, including the launch of the new Pinehurst Mobile App.

1. How to Access Veracross

Veracross is now our official Parent and Student Portal, replacing Schoolbox LMS and SchoolBridge.

To get started:

  • Locate the Welcome Email sent to the personal email address you provided to the school.
  • Click the “Create account and password” link within that email.
  • Once your account has been set up, use those credentials to sign in to the Veracross portal and the Pinehurst Mobile App.

2. Pinehurst Mobile App

The new Pinehurst Mobile App is now available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Through the app, parents and caregivers can:

  • Read school news and announcements.
  • View the school calendar and upcoming events.
  • View their children’s classes and schedules.
  • Access available academic results and assignments.
  • Receive important push notifications from the school.

Signing In

The app uses your existing Veracross parent account. You do not need to create a separate account.

After signing in, you can use your mobile device’s supported biometric security, such as Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint authentication, for secure and convenient access without entering your password each time.

Only current parents and caregivers with an active Veracross account can sign in. People without a current Veracross login will not be able to access the app.

Please Note

The Pinehurst Mobile App does not currently include every feature available through the web-based Veracross Parent Portal. Additional features will be introduced progressively as the app continues to develop.

Search for “Pinehurst” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app. We recommend enabling notifications so that you can receive important school updates and reminders.

3. Finance & Tuition (FACTS)

We will continue to use FACTS as our finance and accounting system until the Veracross implementation is fully completed at the end of 2026. Accessing the FACTS portal remains the same as before.

How to Log in to FACTS

We use your existing personal email account to make signing in easier. Here is how it works:

  1. Go to the Pinehurst FACTS Portal https://pinehurst.nz/portal
  2. Enter your personal email address, using the address you provided to the school.
  3. Our Microsoft sign-in system recognises you as a guest and asks you to verify your identity using your Google or Microsoft account.
  4. This means you do not need to remember a separate school password. You can use the password associated with your existing email account.
  5. If you do not use a Microsoft or Google account, a one-time-password will be delivered to your mailbox, please check your mailbox for verification code.

FACTS FAQs

Q: Why do I have to use a Microsoft or Google login?
A: We use these providers to help keep your financial information secure. This allows you to use your existing, trusted account credentials to verify your identity.

Q: What if I do not use Google or Microsoft?
A: If your email address is with another provider, the system will send you a one-time code to verify your identity when you sign in.

Q: When will finance move to Veracross?
A: We expect to complete the migration of financial records to Veracross by the end of 2026. Until then, please continue using FACTS for invoices and payments.

4. Retired Systems

Please note that the following systems are no longer in use:

  • Schoolbox LMS: The subscription ended on 31 December 2025.
  • SchoolBridge App: This has been replaced by the Pinehurst Mobile App.
