Parent Portal Updates
As of November 2025, we are making exciting changes to improve your experience. Please review the important updates below.
1. Schoolbox Access Ending
We will no longer use or subscribe to Schoolbox from 2026. The last day you can access Schoolbox is
31 December 2025. Please ensure you download, copy, or take screenshots of any important information you wish to keep before this date.

Q: Where are my child’s school reports?
A: Reports have been stored in FACTS since 2023. They will be moved to Veracross during the transition.
Q: Where can I find curriculum information from Schoolbox?
A: Curriculum content has moved to Pinehurst School Community SharePoint:

Q: When will the Veracross finance module be ready?
A: We expect it to be available by the end of 2026. We will notify you once it is ready.
Q: Will Monitor Student ID cards still work for bus and tuck shop?
A: Yes, Monitor will remain in use. You can top up your child’s ID card during the holidays and before the new term. The same card will work for bus tap-on/off until a new photo is taken next year, at which point we will issue a replacement card.
2. Introducing Veracross
We are excited to launch Veracross, a world-class system designed for independent schools and trusted by over 3,000 schools internationally.
Implementation is currently underway, and we expect to go live in early to mid-January 2026.
Once ready, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to sign in. We will transfer as much data as possible from FACTS to Veracross to ensure a smooth transition.
More details about Veracross will be shared soon.
3. FACTS Becomes Finance Portal
The current FACTS Parent Portal will remain active as your finance and accounts portal.
You can continue to check your account, view invoices, and make online payments for 2026.
When the finance module becomes available in Veracross, we will notify you.
How to Log in to FACTS Portal
- In your preferred web browser, go to
https://portal.pinehurst.school.nz
or use our short link:
https://pinehurst.nz/portal. - Enter your email address when prompted.
- If your email is recognised in our system:
- If it is a Google or Microsoft account, you will be asked to enter your Google or Microsoft password.
- If you are already signed in to Google or Microsoft on your browser, you will not need to enter your password again.
- If it is from another provider, a one-time password (code) will be emailed to you for login.
- Note: If your email is recorded as gmail.com, you cannot use googlemail.com as this will not be recognised.
- If your email is not recognised, please contact us to update your details.
- The first time you log in, you will be prompted to accept Pinehurst Services.

Q: Can I still make payments through FACTS?
A: Yes, you can continue to make online payments and view invoices for 2026.
Q: Will my login details change?
A: No, your email address will remain your login credential in Veracross.
Q: When will Veracross finance module be ready?
A: We expect it by the end of 2026 and will notify you once available.
Q: Will Monitor Student ID cards still work?
A: Yes, Monitor will remain in use for bus and tuck shop services.
4. New Mobile App Coming Soon
In January 2026 (subject to readiness), we will launch a new school mobile app integrated with Veracross,
which will replace the current School Bridge app.
FAQs
Q: Do I still need to keep the School Bridge app?
A: Only if you use it for another school. Otherwise, you can delete it once our new app launches.
Q: Can I download the new school mobile app now?
A: No, it is not yet available in the app store.
Q: Will School Bridge still be used before the new app launches?
A: Possibly for a few permission slips in early Term 1. These will also work via email.
Q: How do I report an absence during the holiday for late start in Term 1?
A: Please use the FACTS portal at

Absences still require approval by a senior leadership member.
