Veracross Sign-in Faqs

Veracross is our school’s new online portal for important information such as student details, timetables, reports, and school communications.

This page answers common questions about signing in and accessing your account.

What is the Veracross sign‑in URL?

You can sign in to Veracross using the following link:

https://portals.veracross.au/pinehurst

or we made a short-URL:

https://pinehurst.nz/vc

If you are unsure of the correct URL, please visit the school website or contact the ICT Helpdesk.

I am a parent but never receive welcome email for sign in

If you don’t receive the email:

  • Check your Spam / Junk folder
  • The email domain is from veracross.com, please whitelist this domain name
  • Ask your spouse if he/she receive the email
  • When we transferred data from FACTS the old portal over, it was setup not to receive communications before.

If it still doesn’t arrive, please contact the Admissions team ([email protected]) for assistance.

How do I create my Veracross password for the first time?

If you are a new parent your Veracross account is created by the school and a create new account link should be in the welcome email.

To create your password:

  1. Check the welcome email from Pinehurst School
  2. Click “Create new account password”
  3. Enter the email address registered with the school
  4. Follow the link sent to your email to set your password

📌 If you did not receive the welcome email, please check your junk or spam folder.

My “Create New Password” link has expired – what should I do?

For security reasons, password setup links expire after a short period.

If your link has expired:

  1. Still click on the create new account password in the welcome email
  2. System will send you a new link
  3. Check your email for the new valid create password link

A fresh password reset email will be sent to you.

I forgot my password – how do I reset it?

If you have previously signed in but can’t remember your password:

  1. Go to the Veracross sign‑in page
  2. Select “Forgot your password?”
  3. Enter your registered email address
  4. Follow the instructions sent to your email

You can reset your password as many times as needed.

I can’t sign in. The message is saying I am not authorised to access this application

If you receive a message “Your user account isn’t authorised to access this application” this usually means one of the following:

  • The email address you used is not registered in Veracross
  • You are trying to access an URL that you don’t have access
  • You are signing in to the wrong school’s Veracross site

✅ Please ensure you:

  • Use the same email address you provided to the school
  • Check that you are using the correct Veracross URL 
  • If you bookmarked the URL that you finished creating new account password, please change it to correct portal address https://pinehurst.nz/vc

If the problem continues, please contact the ICT Helpdesk so we can check your access.

I didn’t receive the password reset email

If you don’t receive the email:

  • Check your Spam / Junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Wait a few minutes and try again if needed
  • The email domain is from veracross.com, please whitelist this domain name

If it still doesn’t arrive, please contact the ICT Helpdesk for assistance.

I can’t sign in to FACTS portal

In 2026, we still use FACTS portal for fee payments. The FACTS isn’t share the same login with Veracross.

  • FACTS portal URL https://portal.pinehurst.school.nz
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • You don’t have a password for FACTS portal. You sign in your email address.
